Ann has held leadership roles in local, statewide, national and international non-profit and government sectors.  She holds an MPH from UNC’s Gillings School of Public Health and Duke’s Nonprofit Management Certification.  Her career focused on health sector capacity building, so she is delighted to be able to assist in the exciting work that MedServe is doing to expand the pipeline of medical providers in rural and underserved areas of NC.

She comes to MedServe with AmeriCorps program management experience, having managed two other NC AmeriCorps programs, one serving veterans and the other helping people gain employment.  Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of a domestic violence agency and as Director of Training and Education of a national health association. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys yoga, meditation, and walking.
