In the clinical role, the Fellow will be a combination limited medical assistant and medical scribe. As the limited medical assistant, the Fellow will assist clinical staff in recording data into the EHR, taking vitals, and other typical MA duties. As a medical scribe, the Fellow will assist with charting which allows the patients more time with their provider. For a clinical role, the Fellow will be placed as a population health/health coach specialist. This will involve leading existing QI projects, working with Chronic Care patients, and doing health coaching over the phone.
