Hot Springs Health Program
Hot Springs Health Program is dedicated to the greater Madison County area and is a not-for-profit provider of a wide range of programs and services. The commitment of their program for the community includes strong health education programs, diseases management services, working with patients and families who need assistance in finding a way to afford the health care they need and partnering with other key health care and community organizations, such as Madison Community Health Consortium.
The MedServe Fellow will function as a combined medical assistant and medical scribe in their clinical role. The Fellow will also serve as a community health worker in collaboration with Western Carolina Medical Society supporting their Project Access expansion, a program that connects uninsured individuals with donated specialty care. Spanish speaking skills and CNA certification are preferred, but not required. The positions will fill a full-time capacity and the goals of the roles are to provide service to the local community and to set Fellows on a trajectory to a career of service in healthcare.
