Stedman-Wade Health Services, Fayetteville
Stedman-Wade Health Services is a not-for-profit community health center in Fayetteville, NC that serves over 4,000 patients a year from the surrounding 3 counties utilizing a sliding-scale payment model. It has been recognized as a patient-centered medical home and is part of the Physician Practice Connections Rendition Program through the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Clinic staff consistently engage in community programs, health fairs and other efforts to ensure the health of the larger Fayetteville community is improved.
Stedman-Wade Health Services is engaged in an ongoing quality improvement effort to increase local vaccination rates in the community. This work includes developing a system for vaccination logistics that make vaccine administration optimally convenient for patients, increasing the likelihood of successful vaccination. A Med-Serve Fellow would work closely with this program.
