Access Medicine, Williamston
Access Medicine is located in Williamston, a small town in eastern NC. Dr. Manning renovated a storefront in downtown Williamston as a sustainable investment in his hometown. He founded his practice to provide affordable & comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He operates a Direct Primary Care practice, so patients can pay a monthly membership fee that covers all services. It is one of the first DPC clinics in a rural community, so Dr. Manning could be paving the way for increased access for rural populations across the state.
Access Medicine seeks to provide healthcare at an accessible price for all. In order to do this, staff members are asked to serve in a variety of different patient care roles. A Med-Serve Fellow would serve as a Patient Care Coordinator, completing any necessary jobs to ensure patients are seen and assisted in a timely manner. This includes serving at check-in, taking a basic history, running labs, and serving as a Health Coach.
